Personal History
I've been riding since I was two years old, mostly trail and rarely rode tracks until last year. Last year I began going to tracks every weekend and doing everything it takes to get faster. I enjoy riding and push myself as hard as I can to get faster and make fewer mistakes. I've spent weekends sleeping in my truck, riding until the sweat was pouring into my eyes, pulled off the track to wipe it from my eyes before going back onto the track. I'm not going to say I've got the most drive out of anyone but I have a lot of drive and put my whole heart into my riding. This past winter I made the thousand mile trip to Texas and got trained at the MX Factory so this year I'm going in with a lot more confidence in my ability to corner.
Riding Goals
My main riding goals are to get faster, more confident, and smoother in my cornering so I can get more time off my laps. I'm hoping I can be upper C class or lower B class by the end of this season. I ride until I can't ride any longer, pull off long enough to let my sweat dry and return to the track because no-one has ever gotten faster sitting in the pits resting.
Competitive Highlights
My best highlight is probably the night I took third place because that night I rode at a different level and it showed. This season I also shaved twenty two seconds off my lap time from my best lap time at the end of last season. I went from a 2:17 lap time to a 1:55 lap time and still plan to keep that same drive for next season.
