Been having a great season. Not riding a whole lot but have won most of the races I have entered this year. Won every single +25 B/C moto this year and last year. Haven't lost a single moto in two years.
Decided to race this past weekend (August 11, 2013) . First moto of the day for me was Open B. Was running 2nd right behind the leader until 3rd place decided to take me out mid air over a jump.
Hit the ground pretty hard on my back. Collapsed both lungs, cracked my sternum, and broke a few ribs. Had to get two chest tubes to drain the blood out of my lungs and re-inflate them. After spending almost a week in the hospital I finally got out yesterday.
I've been trying to be positive and strong through this because of how bad my injuries were. The prayers, messages and calls from family and friends definitely helped me through this time.
I will most likely be done racing for the year to recover and get healthy. But I would like to thank my family, and all of my sponsors that have helped me out this year and previous years.

Have been riding really well early into the season.
Before this past weekend I hadn't finished outside of the top 5 in a moto. Total of 4 moto wins out of 8 motos, and have won 3 out of 4 classes in two wks.
This past weekend was a rainy one. After the first motos I had a 3rd in 250B and a 1st in +25. Decided to sit out the second set due to the rain.

October 10' I took a break and tried to focus on a career. Raced one race in March of 11' without even riding for 6 months. Pulled the holeshot in both 250/Open motos. Ended up 4th out of 28 in both classes. Wish I could have kept going last year, felt like it would have been a big year. Moved to Pittsburgh, PA for a job with PNC (Software Engineer). Saved a little money and getting back into racing this year! Just trying to get all the help I can!
