Personal History

I got my first bike when I was about 10 years old, it was a ttr90. I rode that thing all the time in my backyard until I out grew it and moved up to a crf150f then me and my dad started going to this local OHV trails a couple of times a year. Then when I was 12 or 13 I got a crf150rb, after riding that in my backyard for a month or so I finally convinced my dad to take me to a mx track that was about an hour and a half away called highland tracks and trails located in Cedartown, Georgia. When we first arrived I was STOKED but when I got my gear on and it was time to go to the track I was a little  hesitant at first but after the first 5 or so laps I started to hit some of the jumps, they were all small table tops, but by the end of the day I was able to clear some of the jumps. I rode my crf150rb for 2 years then we sold that and I looked and looked for a 250. After about a month of looking on Craigslist I found a 2017 yz250f that we were able to snag for a really good deal. After about 2 months of having the bike we were able to go to the track and try the bike out for the first time. We ended up going to Highland and we were there for less than 15 minute when I decided to go onto mx2 which was there more advanced track, everyone calls it the pro track, but I don’t think it’s a pro track. Anyways I was prob on my 2nd lap around the track when I decided to hit the big triple finish line jump, it did not end well, my dad said I waaaaaay over cleared the jump by about 40 feet. I guess I got knocked out or something because he said I just keep going for about 5 feet and then smashed into the burn and ragdolled. I ended up getting life flighted to the ICU and spent 2 weeks in there then got transferred to CHOA and spent 4 weeks in there. After I was released I went to 3 weeks of rehab. It’s been over a year now and I just got cleared to ride I January, keep in mind the accident was on June 8, 2018. So I’ve done 1 race since, back in April, and I’d like to get some companies to help me out because I destroyed my helmet and they had to cut my jersey and pants off when I was life flighted.
