Why I love to race dirt bikes: I love racing dirt bikes. I like the competition. I love the feeling of doing when I jump a big jump or pass someone for the lead. I especially love to win. That’s the best! It makes me feel really good and makes me happy to make my family proud. I like meeting new people and making new friends. There are a lot of cool people in my sport. I hope to be a professional rider and then someday to have my own place where I can teach other kids how to ride. I would also like to be an engineer and design safety features for the bikes to help keep riders safe. I love working on my bike and I can take it apart and put it back together again. I really love racing and I hope I get to do it for a long time. -Jordan Autrey Sponsor Testimonials:
“We sponsor Jordan because he is a great racer and has the drive to win. But we also support him because he is a good kid. He is very respectful, has a good attitude, and he does good in school. We know it’s hard to race the schedule he does and go to public school but he does it and he is always on the Honor Roll – that means a lot.”
-Paul Hensley, Advanced Fire Protection
“Jordan is an all around good kid and one heck of a motorcycle racer. The first time I saw him ride, he just blew me away. He is very focused and motivated and he loves it. We decided to sponsor him and it has been some good exposure for us. When he wins, which is most of the time, they always mention his sponsors. We are proud to be a part of this race team and hope to see Jordan’s continued success.”
-Kenneth Shupe, Automart of TR
“We decided to sponsor Jordan after seeing him race and talking with him and seeing his commitment to the sport. That commitment flows into the rest of his life, with his grades and his overall demeanor. He is a good public figure – very polite, well spoken and considerate and most of all respectful. He would be a great mentor to younger kids looking to get into the sport. He’s just a really awesome young man.”
-Brian Johnston, Blazers Motocross
Riding Goals
I just look forward to racing at more events and getting out there and doing my best and having a great time. I love to race. It is my dream to get some more sponsors and be able to take my racing up to the next level. That would be awesome! I love to win. Hate losing. I want to be the best. I want to be a pro. My goals for this year are to win even more races, compete even harder and be the best MX racer out there!
Competitive Highlights
One of my bigger highlights I think was when I got the Horizon Award from Victory Motorsports. That made me feel really good. It was a huge honor for me. For them to think I was a rising star, well that was pretty cool.
I just won my first championship on my 125 and that was a big thing for me. I love the power of the bike. It was a big jump from the 85 I had been racing.
I raced my very frist race on my 250 a little over a week ago and came in second. That was a great experience. I am glad I was able to do that good my first time racing on it. Its a beast.
