Personal History

Tjena!(Hello in Swedish), my name is Jonny Lindhe, I am from the South of Sweden from a very small town called Everod.  Most people in my village or the area are farmers, welders or work in the city, but for me I always wanted more.  Both my father and my uncle rode motocross growing up and ever since I was able to remember I’ve always been around motorcycles or dirt bikes.  At the age of 4 my father put me on my older brother Micke’s bike for fun, but noticed that I had a natural way with the bike.  My father eventually bought me my own 50CC Suzuki bike and I started learning how to ride every day and since then I’ve been hooked.

By the age of 11 I was excelling in motocross and started entering in local races-and winning!  People started to take notice of me and I received lots of local support from the community to continue racing.  Racing was my life, but I also did well in school and learned many trades like welding, mechanics and driving tractors. Even though I have a very calm personality, I get along with everyone; I’m very positive with a great sense of humor, determined and I’m extremely dedicated to my sport. I always made time to train and kept my body in good condition by eating right and exercising regularly and never doing drugs. This way I was also representing my sponsors to the fullest, I could always be found on the track and with lots of support all around me from friends and people in the community.

As the years went on I was receiving more and more help from local MX brands, oil and parts, but my father always worked extra so I could compete in the next race.  My parents sacrificed a lot for me and my racing, my mother was always in the bus cooking or cleaning my gear in between races, my father never worked weekends so he could come to my races and helped me with fixing my bike and he even built us our own camper to have at the races from an old bus he bought so we could travel and stay long distances in the bus at all the races.

Eventually, the big name sponsors came into play and I had contracts with Honda, Suzuki, Husqvarna(Factory), Yamaha, Kawasaki and currently KTM.  I had accomplished many goals that I had, such as winning Swedish Champion not once, but three times, 5th place in the overall world championships, I have ridden against some of the greatest motocross riders to date, but one goal had not been realized, and that was racing the nationals in America.

This past January I had began my winter training in Spain and about to go home to Sweden in March when I met an American girl at a soccer game.  Long story short, I stayed in Madrid with Michelina and after about 9 months together she had decided to go home to the USA and of all cities she could have lived in she lived in the Mecca of motocross; San Diego.  We decided to move together to San Diego and so here I am in America finally ready to make my dream a reality, except that I only have a 6 month visa here unless I find sponsorship.

Riding Goals

Against all my sponsors pleading with me back home not to leave and to stay in Europe I felt I had to leave and with that I left all my sponsorships, support, free bikes, parts etc. and family to fulfill my dream.  I plan to do whatever it takes to stay here and race, but I do need some help and I hope that after all my success and good fortune racing in Europe that I can have the same experience here and be on the podium once again.

Thank you for the consideration and I hope that we could potentially work together and I could be honored in representing your brand.
