Rider Updates

Lot's has happened over the summer. Bought a new Bike(2015 CRF450R), the kid is getting bigger and I am getting more and more excited about getting him on a strider soon. My wife continues to put up with my crap, so all is well in the Smith household. Took a good high side in the Pueblo race, so new exhaust will be needed soon. Factory Backing graphics are shot from all the summer racing and camping season. One industries gear is holding up great! The new Honda loves all the Lucas Oils I have been changing in and out(seems like always). TwinAir continues to make a great product, so they have my loyalty as always. I can't say enough thanks to all of you for supporting me day in and day out. Truck and trailer look great with your stickers all over as well!!
Thanks again

Colorado seems to have given us some spring. With that comes new opportunities for riding! A new bike finally made itself into the garage, so last week was some practice to get used to it. It's definitely different going from an 06 to a 15, but I think the benefits will come soon. Now time for some racing!!

OK, let's get back to it! After 4 months of physical therapy, I am feeling better and better each day. Doc says He is confident to release me back to racing after 6 months, so I have started easing myself back into some slow practice and will hopefully get back to racing December or January. With the onslaught of family and friends coming in December(newborn and holidays), it will most likely be January for my first Hare Scramble of the season. Thank you for following me as I hope to promote your brands the best I can.
Thanks again

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I had surgery for a torn ACL and medial meniscus on May 28th. Finally, after 12 weeks I am able to run on a treadmill. My doctor and physical therapist say I am doing great and I plan to be back riding soon. Doc says I can get back on after 6 months(I might call to see if 24 weeks is possible).
Thanks again

Thank you to everyone I have contacted this year. It was a good start. Two weeks ago, I raced Berthoud, didn't wreck, but managed to tear my ACL and my medial meniscus. Surgery will be coming very soon and I wanted to let everyone know where I am at. I will be back fairly soon. Hopefully, I will be able to make the winter hare scramble series. Might miss a few, but want to get back as soon as possible.
Thank you for your help.
