Personal History
I started racing later in life than most at 18 in the early 2000's. I mainly focused on SX as I was able to race a complete series here in Colorado with SRAC. Career highlights through those days was, 2006 7th points finish in 125 C and 3rd in Open C. State Championship in 250 C and 3rd in Open C for the 2006 season. In 2007 I moved up to the B class and had a strong series going when I shattered my left radius in multiple areas and had a lengthy recovery. Racing was put on hold raising a family for few years following that injury.
Fast forward to 2011, I renewed my desire to race and ended up finishing 2nd in Open B and 3rd in 450 B in the SRAC SX series. I again paused my personal racing to focus on my boy racing BMX for a few years. Once he started racing MX and I was at the track consistently, the itch to get back on the gate appeared again. I hit a few SX races in 2021 and had some top 5 finishes.
Fall of 2021 I had a bad crash that ended with a 17 day stay in the hospital with 14 fractures, 3 brain bleeds and several follow up PT sessions to get my TBI healed. I was able to return to riding in the spring and was able to race the RMRA SX '22 series, I ended up a with a 4th OA in the Vet 30 B class and missing out on 3rd by 2 points
Riding Goals
2024 summer/winter racing goals. I'm going focus on my son's racing season more and building our race team resume. I'm still planning on racing a few select races as well.

2004: 3rd in Open C and 7th in 125 C SRAC SX series
