Personal History
Hey, my name is Jon McDonald. I'm 16 and im a Junior at Ankeny High School. I also work part time after school to support my racing (It is very expensive for a 16 year old kid). I love riding my bike and competing in motocross. I compete in the 125C, Open C, and Schoolboy. I love everything about motocross. There is nothing better in the world than just hopping on your bike.
Riding Goals
As the 07-08 season comes to a close i am going to start next year fresh with a more competitive attitude. I am currently running and lifting weights, and riding three to four times a week. I have progressed very quickly since i just started racing this year. I really look forward to next year and i am going to run the WinMX series here in Iowa. And... I just got a hookup to ride at a brand new indoor facility here in Iowa! Which is awesome as the Iowa winters are terrible!!
Competitive Highlights
I finished 2nd place at Lamoni MX here in Iowa in the Spring, and i also finish in the top ten at most of the races.
