I'm back and 100% healthy now. On July 26th and 27th my dad and I went to Gallup, New Mexico. On Saturday (26th) I qualified 3rd in the heat race, in the main i got a pretty good start but the I wrecked twice; once in the whoops the other was a short double after the finish line turn. I cut the corner and tried to seat bounce the double but my back tire slid and when I seat bounced it launced the back end of my bike to the right and I landed sideways, once I got up to go get my bike another guy was roling the jump and hit my head with his handlebars which knocked me down again. When I got up there was only a couple laps left and my bike didnt want to start, so needless to say we had to push my bike off the track and all the way back to my pick up. Sunday (27th) during qualifying a guy wrecked on the turn before the finish line on the outside and by the time I got to the turn the flag man was not waving the yellow flag so I didnt know that someone was down and when I went around the turn (instead of squaring off the turn I went around the outside of the turn and ran over his boot which knocked me over, when I got back up the guy that I ran over he was already gone and I still had to start my bike (which it actually started unlike saturday night). I got going again and had to do another lap by the time I crossed the finish line I was like 7th or 8th one position out of qualifying. In the LCQ start I wheelied and almost looped out but I let off the gas and started to go again but everybody was too far gone. So needless to say (again) my dad and I make the 450 mile drive back home with nothing to show for our long drive. Last night in Clovis, New Mexico I did not do well at all in the practice or the heat race, so fortunately for me they took everyone to the main. In the main I had next to last gate pick (thanks to my 8th place qualifying position). I picked the gate next too last on the far right side. Once the gate dropped I twisted the trottle as hard and fas

On June the 1st I wrecked very hard while practicing. I was trying to whip it over a pretty short step over triple and I landed sideways and it threw me into the ground head first. I went to the hospital and didnt leave until thursday afternoon. I had internal bleeding in my brain and now I cant hit my head 6-8 weeks, my mom and dad said that I can't even ride for 8 weeks; and I know it's wise to listen to your parents but there is a race on July 26th and 27th, I don't see how I'm supposed to go from not riding in 8 weeks to doing 2 arenacross races Saturday and then Sunday. I am going to go to a small practice track about 20 minutes away and practice the week before so I won't be completely rusty. Right now I am in the process of putting my bike back together, I have to get a new left radiator, new plastic and graphics (from ONE INDUSTRIES of course), new handlebars, new grips, and I got new triple clamps to help with the tight turns that make up arenacross races. I have to order new gear because the paramedics cut my jersey straight up the middle all the way. They also cut one of my pant legs and then they cut my socks off. So needless to say I have to get some new gear. The wreck also messed up my new Arai helmet that i had just gotten like 3 weeks prior. The day i wrecked was the 2nd time I had worn that helmet, I believe that helmet kept me from having much greater damage than I had/have. I also believe my Leatt-Brace helped out a lot also, since when my bike landed sideways and threw me into the ground I'm pretty sure that my head probably went to the left pretty hard and pretty fast. I am sitting here today without and head trauma and no neck injuries. Thank you God, and Arai, and Leatt-Brace, and the paramedics who worked on me and kept me safe.
