Personal History
My name is Johnathan Langston, I am 20 years old, I live in Amarillo TX. I am currently an FTS (From The Soul) "dealer" here in Amarillo, my friend braden and some of his friends started FTS not too long ago. FTS is a company that is for people who ride bmx, skate, ski, snowboard, surf or (more importantly) race dirtbikes (whether it be for fun or serious). FTS really is something that people who do the afore mentioned things feel when they strap on a helmet or grab their bike or board and people ask us "How does it feel when u ride or skate or surf?" Our response is not "its the adrenaline from doing it" there is ONLY 1 way to describe it and that answer my friend is "It comes FROM THE SOUL!!!!!" So now people will hopefully understand what we feel when we strap on the helmet or grab a bike or board and tear it up. So now hopefully U understand what FTS is all about and will soon one day become a member of the FTS family. So now onto my bike. I currently ride/race a 2008 YZ 450f in the novice class (competitively). I have had the suspension done by Factory Connection and it is AWESOME!!!!!!! The exhaust is the FMF Factory 4.1C and FMF megabomb header (sweet looking and works like no other) overall the exhaust system increases the horsepower tremendously. I recently got the L&M San Manuel graphics by One Industries to spruce up the appearance of the bike. I also just sold my 2007 YZ450F to a friend of mine and he loves that bike and he just went from a YZ 250 to the 450 and he likes it ALOT!! If u use myspace hit me up my display name is langston103 "mx ninja". So if u want to say whats up just hit me up. I would also like to say thank you to my sponsors and hopefully my future sponsors. Peace and keep the bike right side up. HOLLA at the mx ninja!!!!
Riding Goals
I plan on doing quite a bit of outdoor stuff. I plan on going to Ponca since I just recently qualified to go. Other than that I plan on racing some arenacross stuff. I would like to do some more of the outdoor type races so if any one hears of any hit me up on the myspace page.
Competitive Highlights
I won the 2006 AX Winter Series tour as a beginner on a 2005 YZ 250. I moved up after that series and have suprised myself on how well I've done in the Novice class. On March the 9th I did my 1st ever outdoor race and got 8th out of 9 (if i remember correctly) well that race wasn't my shining moment shall we say. Then on the 30th of the same month I ran the 250 Novice and 4 stroke 250-500cc Open class. I won the overall in the Novice class. I believe there were 7 of us in the Novice class so I was VERY suprised when I crossed the finish line with no one ahead of me in just my 2nd ever outdoor race. I place 2nd in the 4 stroke Open class, in my defense the guy who won the race was an AMA Intermediate racer and I am an Amateur Novice racer. In the afore mentioned race; there was the winner, me, then my dad; my dad (who is 49 and doesnt jump and just pretty much rides for fun got 3rd). So the winner beat me by quite a bit and I beat my dad by quite a bit so nothing to impressing there.
