Personal History

My name is John Sandoval, I'm 17 and I love motocross. I was 13 when I got my first dirt bike, I was nervous, scared, happy and rode it up and down an ally fifth teen times when we got home. My family was just introduced to off-roading through a friend and we all loved it. My first camping trip was to Glamis CA where I learned to ride a Polaris 50. As I got older I upgraded to a crf 230f not knowing what motocross was at the time but I soon found out about motocross. I took that trail bike to its limits on that track but I realized it just wasn't made for motocross. After months of running repair calls for plumbing and irrigation I had enough for a CRF 250R. I was 16 and couldn't be happier. Ever since I have been training for motocross every weekend. We moved from Long Beach to Lake Elsinore soon after buying the 250r and I live five minutes from the track, couldn’t be happier. Beside motocross I am a prodigy in plumbing, irrigation, concrete, and some landscaping. I’m heading to college this year to further the family business.

Riding Goals

My main goals for motocross will always be to get faster, but I also want to focus on style and I would also like to grow my social media accounts, they are currently sitting about 800 followers each. Something I will always shoot for is to get more people into the sport. My life changed when I learned about motocross and dirtbikes and I think I can give that same change to others. I have invited people to my races and track days, share my experiences through social media and I try to be an outgoing positive person.

Competitive Highlights

My biggest accomplishments would have to be jumping a few triples and sending big in Glamis at flagpole. I'm proud of my quick acceleration in learning and overall progress.
