Personal History
As my mom would say I am a country boy growing up in a cul-de-sac. About a week after I turned three I was riding my bicycle without training wheels and I have never stopped. On my 5th birthday, my parents gave in a bought me a dirt bike - a razor battery powered dirt bike. Not exactly what I hoped for, but I loved it anyway.
Shortly after turning 6 I was at my family's farm in WV and my cousin had a Honda 50. I jumped on the bike and took off across the field never looking back. My parents bought that bike and surprised me for Christmas. They had no idea how/when I would be able to ride, but they knew it was what I loved.
I started on a Honda 50 moved onto the 80 and then switched over to a YZ85. I tried out a KX100 but grew so fast I have now jumped to a YZ125.
This year I plan on trying out more track races along with tackling MidSouth trail race series.
Riding Goals
My first goal is to complete the Mid-South series - riding in every race. With each race, I want to get better and faster to move up in the ranking. I also want to try riding in an arena race like the Amsoil series.
My second goal for this spring is to ride in the AMA area qualifier at Thunder Valley. Would be amazing to qualify to go to the region qualifier, but really can't wait just to have this experience.
My ultimate goal is to ride professionally. Riding is my true passion.
