Personal History

I started riding dirt bikes when I was around 4 or 5 years old. I've been in love with the sport ever since that first ride through my dad's fence in the back yard, haha!

I started racing in 2005 in the OCCRA. I didn't know where I would stack up, so I started in the Sportsmen class and ran away with a win. So for the next race I went to Novice, the highest class in the B race. With a 1 minute deficit due to dead engine start issues, I ended up second. For the next race I went to the Expert class in the A race, placing a solid second!

When I'm not on the bike, I'm either at work, at the gym, at school, or playing gigs with my band, Oakville. Music is the only passion I have that matches my love for riding. I primarily play bass with the band, but we also do a blues and country set where I play lead guitar and sing. I grew up in the band program at school playing the trombone, tuba, electric and upright bass, and the guitar.

Riding Goals

I have been away from racing for the past couple years. My goal this year is to train harder than ever, try enduro with BJEC more than OCCRA XC events, hopefully get a trials bike, and try some trials competitions out with NEOTT. I am also looking to finish my Diesel Technology associates degree by next March.

Competitive Highlights

I think winning my first and last races in the lowest and highest amatuer classes in OCCRA my first season of racing are two of the biggest highlights of my career! To start racing, not knowing where you stack up and winning was a great feeling! To finish the year out winning in the highest class below pro was just a feeling of pure elation.
