Personal History

Hi my name is Joely Lindsey. I'm 15 years old, and I race motocross! I've been racing my TTR125 for a year, but due to a bad crash at Swan MX in Tyler, Texas I am in need of a new bike! I will be getting a 2013 CRF250 in a couple of months, and I will be back to racing! I finished 4th in the Womens class in the Lone Star Night Series at Swan. I'm looking for support so I can ride more! I practice with my boyfriend and his brother who are qualifying for Lorretta's this year, so I know I'm not slow! I train everyday and all I think about is riding. It's not a hobby, it's a lifestyle!

Check me out1

Riding Goals

My riding goals are to get better every race, which I have been. I have only been riding my TTR125 for five months and i am already too fast for it. When I get my Honda CRF150, my goals will be to learn all the things I need to know to be faster. One day I hope to be a professional freestyle rider, and I will do everything to acheive that goal. I also want to be a mechanic for dirtbikes when I'm older so I am starting to learn everything about the bikes My boyfriends family and I own. I will acheive my dreams one day, there's no one who will stop me.

Competitive Highlights

There's not much to say since this is my first year to race, but the most competitive moment was in the third round, second moto, I was in third place behind a 250 and a 150, and I was battling with a girl on an 85,(second in points, ahead of me) and I was infront of her. On the last lap, last stretch, second to last corner, she did a step up that I couldn't do(due to my bike's suspension) and she cut me off and beat me to the finish line. After I had got off the track and cooled down. I started to think about it. That was so exciting! I've never been in that position and I learned from it.

Other than that, the starts are the only really competitive parts for me, because usually there are only 6-8 girls in my class so we are pretty spaced out.
