Personal History

I'm a 24 year Special Operations veteran, still on active duty as a Combat Rescue Officer. I've ridden motorcycles for years (street/trail) and now our entire family rides (spouse and two teenage sons). We've lived overseas for years and returned to the States approximately 3 years ago and recently got into the sport of dirt biking in an attempt to keep the boys with Mom and Dad for as long as we can :O)

What started out as casual riding on trails is now turning into more aggressive riding on trails and recently began riding motocross tracks in the local area of San Antonio. Our family has always been adventurous and outdoor enthusiasts where they were introduced to BMX racing at the very young age of 3 years old. Now at 15 and 17, we still spend much quality time together on the weekends.

My wife has been the glue to our family as I've been away many times over the years for training, combat deployments, and real world missions. She has been my rock and we do everything together...trail running, mountain biking, 2-up adventure riding, whitewater rafting, climbing, camping, and now...dirt biking. One of our passions is to travel on my BMW 1200 GS Adventure and take in the outdoors from two wheels.

Riding Goals

I want to become more aggressive in my riding style on trail and track, feel comfortable in uncomfortable situations, relax with the bike swaying underneath me on dirt and rock. I love the motocross track where we often ride BUT realized our boys are pulling away from Dad...well already have. My wife and I simply enjoy riding, taking countless videos/pics of our sons to answer the "hey Dad, watch this".

We go out almost every single weekend to ride either track or trail and just recently joined a riding club for trail riding for dirt bikes only.

Competitive Highlights

Though I have no competitive motocross highlights, I've been fortunate to accomplish/support many things in my life (personal and professional). This new family hobby brings all the things important to our family (competitive spirit, outdoor adventure, adrenaline, motorcycles, and a love for something new).
