Personal History
My name is Kennedy and i started racing when I was 2 years old. my dad grew up racing flat track and so I followed in his footsteps! I have one sister and two brothers which my youngest brother just started racing a stacyc bike he is almost two years old. Almost every weekend were at the track racing flat track and riding moto in the off season. It's pretty much all i do other go horseback riding every Thursday or riding at the local BMX track.
Riding Goals
Every new year's I have resolutions that I make for my racing. Theres is always things I want to work on every year, so I give myself 5 goals in January to perfect by the following year.
- perfect my starts on the line.
- finish 1st overall in points for girl's class.
- finish top 3 in points in 65/85cc class.
- waiting 5 more seconds before letting off the gas going into the corners,
- spending more time with the younger racers getting to know them.
Competitive Highlights
So, I have been a very lucky girl so far! my first-year racing i started on a stacyc bike at 2 years old and finished 1st in points at my local Puyallup flat track. The following year I placed 1st in points in pw50 at Rainer cycle bowl in Rainer WA / 3rd place overall at Castlerock WA. The following years I was first in points on my Husky 50 at Puyallup flat track but did not receive my award as we didn't make the 8 out of 10 races but still held the points lead. I stayed on my Husky 50 until I was 6 and then hoped on my Husky 65 and raced that for a half of season before I started racing my KTM 85 at the age of 7. Last year I finished 4th in points in the 85cc class, not the best but for only riding the 85 for 3 months I am happy. To end the winter season, I finished 3rd in the 85cc class, this week we start outdoors and I hope to set the bar high.
