Personal History

Good day fellow mx lovers!

I'm a 37 yr old police officer who after years of riding a motor in the traffic division reassigned to patrol and the confines of a four wheeled cage.  To ease the panic attacks of being stuck in a cage I began racing with several of my co-workers and was hooked from the first time the gate dropped.

Now I spend virtually every moment I'm not working and some moments I am working involved in something mx related be it riding, racing, wrenching, or just talking about it.

Riding Goals

1. First and foremost to have a health / injury free season and no mechanical problems.  My first season was plagued by mechanical issues (used bikes....) and an injury that cost half of the season.

2.  To place in the top 5 of my divisions for AMA District 36 and Sierra OTHG.

3.  To finish our groups project of starting a Police Activities League MX Program.  Allowing us to promote and enlarge our sport by providing the opportunity to learn to ride and race to under privilaged and at risk youths.  Providing them with equipment and instruction, promoting our sport, and instilling life lessons of sportsmanship, confidence, and responsibility.

Competitive Highlights

1). The dropping of the gate and finishing 12th in my first race.

2).  Traveling to Idaho to compete in the Western States Police and Fire Olympics.  This was also the lowpoint for the season.  A wreck on the last lap lost me the bronze medal and resulted in a three month recovery.

3).  Returning from my injury to compete in the E-Street MX Fall series.
