Personal History
My name is Joao Gabriel da Veiga, I am from Brazil. I came to USA to train with Rodney Smith. I am 15 years old and I started riding a motorcycle when I was 6, since I started racing I got many titles on base class. I bought a 250 last year and I am training hard to have fun and try to get pro. I came to USA to try to get some sponsors.
Riding Goals
My goal this year is win the Brazilian championship and arenacross (in brazil) and next year I will try to race Loretta Lynn's on class novice and be the top 3. If I do this I will try to get top 3 on Loretta Lynn's at class intermediate then next year I will try to qualify to AMA and race Loretta Lynn's at class pro
Competitive Highlights
I started racing with 7 years old, in my first year I won the regional in Brazil on 50cc (2007), in 2008 I won again the regional, 2009 I changed to 65cc class and I did a third place on regional, 2010 I hurted my feet, 2011 changed to 85cc and got another third place on regionals, 2012 I broke one rib during a race so I didn't finished the championship, 2012 I changed to 250 and I didn't race because I wasn't feeling good on the bike but in November I raced and did a second on the regional.
I've never tried that hard to be the better but now that I came to USA I see that I can do it and know I am doing the possible and the impossible to be the better
