Personal History
My name is Joanna Reynolds, I am 25 years old, and I grew up and live in Virginia. I come from and very hard working family that supports me in everthing I do. I work very at my two jobs as at my familes Accounting Bussiness and as a Part Time dock worker and Truck Driver for UPS Freight. I grew up playing sports like basketball, softball, and soccer. Once in school I got into swimming and running track. My whole life I spent watching and hearing about all the stories of some of my family racing dirt bikes. I wanted to so much but was never able to due to my fathers injuries and fear of me getting hurt. When I was 12 my Grandmother bought me my first dirt bike which was a 1999 Honda XR100. Once I turned 15 and couldn't stand it any longer I started racing and feel in love with it.
Riding Goals
This year I plan defending my championship in the VCHSS and regaining the number one plate again this year. I will train harder in and outside the gym, practice on my bike more, at different tracks with other riders. I will focas and take more time on capitalizing on my mistakes and improving on them to get better. I will run some of the GNCC again that i haven't been able to the last couple of years and trying to mix it up with the pro women. In the Mid-East and the VXCS i plan on running in the mens 250C class and be as competitvie as I can be.
Competitive Highlights
Last year in 2010 I won the VCHSS Women's Novice Chamionship, and In 2007 I won the Mid-East Women's Chamionship.
