Personal History
My name is Jiordan Giacoppo, I’m 27 years of age from Perth Western Australia.
Throughout my whole life I’ve been involved with all things wheels & motors, having grown up in a family of waterskiing and BMX.
Naturally, I got into bmx following in my 2 older brothers footsteps, until late 2010 I had a crash at the skatepark, ultimately fracturing my skull & causing bleeding on the brain. After a long recovery, I finally got back into doing bmx. Not long after I found a new passion in scootering to which I became quite successful and travelled to 3 world championships with my highest position being 16th. After years of putting my knees and ankles through torture, I decided to give the scootering away. Until late 2019 I decided, it would be a good idea to purchase a dirtbike, and it has been the best decision I have ever made.
For the first year or so of owning my first bike, I just went out and rode in the bush, finding little trails and just generally having fun, slowly improving my skills and knowledge of dirtbikes. Fast forward to 2023 and I’ve now competed in countless events, finished 2nd O/A in the 2022 WAMX State series, with multiple round wins along the way.
Riding Goals
Having stepped up in classes this year, my goals are to finish in the top 8 for the year. Having such a stacked class with so much up and coming talent, I find this is a really good goal for myself.
