Jimmy was racing the intermediate / B class by the age of 16 where he would win a handful of races and finished top 7 in the Grand National Championships held at Oak Hill Raceway .  By 2010 Sagers had begun racing the local pro/A class where he quickly became comfortable. Currently Sagers already has won numerous A class races at various local tracks and battled his way to the top in local pro racing series . Sagers has his first year of AMA Amsoil Arenacross under his belt making the night program on the west coast . Although he didn't receive enough points to make him elidgable to race in his hometown AMA supercross event , he still was able to experience first hand what its like racing will real professional racers . Sagers will be running the west coast rounds again this year in hopes of receiving his Ricky Carmichael road to supercross points .
