Personal History
My name is Jillian Goodart and I am 22 years old living in Las Vegas, NV. While riding dirt bikes is one of my favorite hobbies, I actually grew up riding horses and competing in local Hunter Jumper shows. As well as riding horses I also competed on the Varsity cheerleading squad during high school. Once I graduated and started college at UNLV, I decided it was time to stop sitting around and start being more involved with dirt bikes, even if that was hard to do financially. I began competing in the local desert races and even tried a few WORCS races. I was hooked on desert racing almost instantly, even if it was a lot harder than I expected it to be. While I still love to ride horses, I also love getting to inspire other girls to ride and being someone they can look up to, even if it is only my first year being competitive.
Riding Goals
I hope to finish out the year with my local MRAN races and place in the top 3 overall in the Women's division. As well as doing good at races, I hope to improve my skills and confidence on a bike and be able to move up to higher levels at future races.
Competitive Highlights
I have finished all of my desert races and received first place at my first desert race, as well as fourth place at my first national event (WORCS). I received 2nd overall at the end of the 2015 season for MRAN GPs in the Women's division.
