Personal History
Hi, I'm Jett Welch! Ever since I could walk, I've been on two wheels. I loved my strider so when my dad brought home my first Stacyc 12e, I was beyond excited. I rode my 12e for about 8 months then moved to a 16" PurSpeed. Finally, this year i was able to start riding and racing my PW50. I recently started ripping the GasGas MC-e5 as well and will be racing it in upcoming events! We also have a MX Club membership so my dad takes me to our track as often as he can.
Riding Goals
I ride because it's what I LOVE to do. Every race or trip to the track is extremely exciting to me. I am worki my hard at mastering my new Gas Gas MC-E5 and hope to see results as good, if not better, than the handful of podiums I saw with my PW50 this year.
Competitive Highlights
I started riding my PW50 on a track in mid-May. I ran my first race 10 days later and placed 6th overall (out of 15 riders) in my first two races. In a few short months I have seen the podium on my PW and hope to see one before the years end on my E5. If not, definitely before I turn 5!
