Personal History

My name is Jessikah McWilliams. I am 37 years old and I race AMA District 36 events. My main focus is Hare Scrambles and I also ride enduros competitively. I completed the hare scramble spring series for AMA D36 in 2022 winning nearly all my events and taking 1st place overall in my class for the championship. I am a wife and mother of four children who all compete in the D36 championship. My son won his championship for his class as well. I live in Northern California, and enjoy spending all of my time in the mountains on my Dirt bike. In this last series I competed on a big wheel Honda CRF 150RB. I raced against women whom all rode bikes twice the size of mine. Their bikes had Twice the power, bigger wheel size, electric start, superior suspension, and every advantage possible against me. I mention this because I was racing a 2007 150r, no electric start, drained forks, smaller wheel size, smaller engine, and an overall disadvantage against all my competitors and I still won my races and championship with everything stacked against me. I worked twice as hard as every racer on the line and my results reflect the hard work I put in. I recently bought a Husqvarna TC 125 and I raced the Jackhammer enduro where I took 3rd in my class. In November I raced in the WHS National hare scramble at wilseyville with my new bike and I won my race/class there as well. Riding is my passion.

Riding Goals

My riding goals are to get in many more hours of seat time and keep earning advancement points to move ti the B class. I am very confident I will be able to reach that goal. In the last series I secured 1/3rd of the points I need to advance to the B class. I’m working on my endurance and speed. Some of my races are over 90 miles long.

Competitive Highlights

I won the 2022 spring Series for AMA D36 in the C VET women class.

I was the first and only VET women rider to ever complete two laps at Fort Sage Hare Scramble. Each lap was 26 miles long.

In the WHS national at Wilseyville I was the only VET Women rider to take the Hard route when presented the choice between routes.

At the Phantom Hare Scramble in hollister hills I was one of two VET women who did not hour out. I was in 1st place both laps and won my race with my 2nd place competitor coming in 40 minutes behind me.
