Personal History

I am a 24 year old female that currently resides in Coos Bay, OR. I have lived here for about six years, previously coming from Mammoth Lakes, CA. When I was in Mammoth, I worked for Mammoth Mountain in the capacity of Ski Patroller and did so for three years. After this, I moved to Coos Bay, OR  and attended the local college on a soccer scholarship. I played soccer there for two years while studying to earn my AAS in Fire Science. In doing that, I became a Cadet Firefighter with Coos Bay Fire Rescue and did that for three years. After earning my Fire Science degree, I started the pursuit of my AAS in Paramedicine. Shortly after, I obtained that degree and have since worked full time as a Paramedic for Bay Cities Ambulance, where I am currently employed. I still volunteer my time with Coos Bay Fire Department, in the capacity of Firefighter/Paramedic.

Riding Goals

As far as my riding/racing goals for the coming year, the biggest one is keeping myself healthy and fit to ride and not getting hurt! I plan on adding a few more racing venues to my schedule this year as well. I want to advance my freestyle capabilities as well as my racing ability. I also plan on assisting with the creation and development of the track that is supposed to be coming to this area in the near future.

For other goals that I have for this year, I plan on taking the last few classes I need to be qualified to test for advancement to Paramedic Supervisor on the ambulance. I am also looking forward to advancing my firefighting skills/knowledge through advanced Firefighter classes offered throughout the state. I am also working toward having the opportunity to gain experience in the Flight Medic position with the local air ambulance, Emergency Air Lift. I also have a desire to start volunteering as a Reserve Police Officer with the City of North Bend, OR, thus requiring the entrance/passing of the Reserve Officer Training Academy (ROTA) and all subsequent training required for this position.

Competitive Highlights

My competitve highlights are fairly limited as my racing career is just getting started. I have placed 26th for two consecutive years at the Ford Mammoth Mountain Moto-X. My first year racing the Money Butt Enduro race in Spray, OR produced a first place finish in my division. I also raced in the Medford Arenacross, which was a first place finish as well. In 2009, North Bend held the annual Sand Fest races, where I finished first in my class.  I am hoping to add some more finish highlights to my career during the coming year!
