Personal History

I have been an athlete my entire life, and there is nothing that I enjoy more than being able to do more than most. And I am extremely competitive and driven. During my young years I played multiple sports. At age 13 I placed first at the Junior Olympics for the 50yd freestyle. The following year, as a freshmen in high school I competed to represent my school at the State Championships. After that I moved on to conquer Track and Field, again qualifying and competing at States in the high jump. I also competed in triathlons since I was 14 and in 2009 placed 3rd at Nationals in Alabama, representing Team USA the following year in Budapest, Hungary (where I got my behind handed to me haha), none the less it was an awesome experience. I have always had an interest in dirt bikes and two years ago I bought my first one, an XR80! It taught me the basics. I moved from that to crf150, then to a 2007 crf250, and now on my absolute favorite a 2014 crf250r. I also snowmobile in upstate NY frequently throughout the winter, and compete in drag races. I work full-time as an Exercise Physiologist at a local hospital network fitness center, and am currently working on a motocross specific training program at our Sports Performance Facility!

Riding Goals

This year my goal is obviously continue to improve. I plan on racing motocross and supercross races in my local area, and depending on my improvement level and with support possibly make some national level amateur races. There won't be a single weekend once spring starts that I won't be riding. I have a lot of family support around me to push me to exceed my expectations! For someone who hasn't been riding their whole life, I believe I have come a long way in two short years. The only way I have to go is UP!

Competitive Highlights

Last year as my very FIRST race ever, I signed up for the Unadilla GNCC. And of course it rained the night before, so I along with 750 riders battle some of the thickest mud I personally ever saw. I couldn't prepare myself for the conditions I met on that course. But every time I fell, I picked my mud covered bike back up and continued on! Until I got stuck in an uphill rut and my bike overheated. Sad face.  But the experience made me a tougher rider for sure. I went to a local harescramble one week later and placed 4th! Yay me!
