Personal History

Hi im Jesse and Im a fourth generation racer. My dad is helping me with my profile since Im only 10 years old. I like racing alot but still nervous. I have a great family that supports me in every sport I do. I like to play baseball alot too. My dad teaches me how to ride. I am racing a KTM 65 now and I have alot to learn. Its totally different from a 50cc and I need lots of practice. I love getting off the starting line even though I sometimes loop it but that never stops me. My dad teaches me that no matter what the only way we come off the track is on the  bike or in a stretcher there is no quiting. thanks for looking at my profile and I hope to hear from you all soon.

Riding Goals

As long as I keep my grades up my dad will let me race in all our local events. I hope to get more trophys this year.

Competitive Highlights

I have Moved up to the 65 begginer class  now and It is completely different and hard I love the challenge.

After the September 10th race were I took a 2nd place I was notified that I would be bumped up to the junior level.  Racing in the 50cc Junior class is much faster and I have to learn alot so I can win again.

On November 20, 2010 I Raced in a hare scramble in Wilseyville, Ca. It was my first hair scramble and I was very nervous. There was tons of snow and mud every where. I had alot of pressure on me since my great grandfather was one of the founding fathers of this race and I knew at all cost I had to finish. I went down alot, probably a hundred times but all my family was there cheering me on to keep going and I did. I did 2 laps and each lap was between 1 and 5 miles long. If you asked me it was 10 miles per lap. When i finally came to the finish line i felt great. I went through the finish line and my dad was waiting for me and told me to look at the board and it said 2nd place. Not only did I finish but I placed 2nd. My Family was so proud of me I was the First Porteous to finish with a trophy from Wilseyville.
