Personal History

Greetings all who are reading, my name is Jesse Norton and I am currently in school at the University of Georgia for music as well as racing full time! I completed my first race when I was 4 years old and started off with motocross alongside hare scrambles. My father worked and still works on motorcycles in his own shop which always kept me rolling. I raced often until I got into the University of Georgia on a scholarship and briefly took some time off. Currently, I have almost finished my degree and recently have started to get back into riding full time which I could not be more excited about. I currently work in my father’s motorcycle shop as a mechanic and have worked on motorcycles for 8 years on payroll. I am reaching out for sponsorships because every time I ride, I am making big strides in my conditioning and speed!

Riding Goals

I have started to take riding more seriously, my conditioning as well and have never forgotten the reason why I love riding and racing. It is a feeling I get from this that I rarely feel with any other sport. Every time I finish a difficult or challenging race, the feeling of accomplishment is there. This year I plan to finish out my local series in 250A which races all over Georgia and some of Tennessee. I have raced my first National Enduro this year so I plan on doing a few more of those coming up later this year. I also have plans to race some GNCC races as well which I have started to really dive into. Once I finish school, I plan on making the leap up to AA in my local series and the A class in GNCC/enduro races. Once my degree is finished, I will have even more time to really pick up my speed and training to succeed in my goals for this season.

Competitive Highlights

My competitive highlights have come recently when I stepped up to the A class and started riding and training more. I have completed 2 seasons in the B class in S.O.R.C.S (Southern Off-road Racing Championship Series) which a third place in 4 Stroke B, and 200B. Currently, I am leading the points in the 250 A class with just two races left to complete. In my first GNCC last year, I had bike troubles and didn’t end up how I liked in the Open B class. This season for GNCC I have a plan in order to make a good run in the large classes.
