Personal History
I was born in Olathe, KS and moved to Arizona when I was about 2 years old. I was a ballerina for 10 years up until about couple of months ago. My dad got me my first bike last Christmas. He would take me and the rest of my family out to ride the Arizona desert trails to improve our skills, and learn how to control our bike. We would ride just about every weekend, which I thought was the coolest thing ever. My cousin got me on the track for the first time on August 8, 2014 for my and it was a race. I've been hooked ever since. I practice every weekend and have been told that I pick up on technique and skill very quickly in the short amount of time that I've been riding. I could never thank my parents for what they do to get me to the track on the weekends to train.
Riding Goals
My goals this year are to improve my confidence when I'm riding. I also want to improve my technique, skill level, and lap time to the very best I can get it in the short amount of time that I have been riding. I ride because, being on a dirt bike is the best feeling in the world to me. Just sitting on my bike brings so much joy to me. I love the sound of the bike, the way it makes my muscles so tired, the way it pushes me to want to get faster. When I ride I give more than 100% knowing that in the end of all the hard work I put in, I'm a better rider than I was an 1 ago.
Competitive Highlights
My first time on a track was in August 2014 at Challenge Trax in Kingsville, Missouri and also the first time I had raced. I took first place out of the girls in the 85's class. I practice at Arizona Cycle Park every weekend. I've race at Arizona Cycle park 1-2 times a month.
