Personal History
I started racing dirt bikes when I was 14 years old, which is quite late compared to most of my peers. I have always pursued education along with my racing, to ensure that I can continue to race while making money using my brain rather than my body. I have a bachelor's degree in chemistry and am currently pursuing graduate studies in medical physics. This allows me to pursue my racing dreams to the fullest while planning for the future.
Riding Goals
This year, I qualified for my first Canadian pro national which was the largest goal in my riding career to date. Now that I have raced a national, I plan to do at least 5 pro nationals next year with the ultimate goal of scoring my first pro point. In the coming years, I plan to do the nationals and get a national number. I truly believe that with the right support and fitness, I am capable of being in the top 100 overall in the triple crown series.
Competitive Highlights
2023 was my first full season since 2019 due to a string of bad injuries. In 2022 I broke 6 ribs, my collarbone and suffered a collapsed lung and seriously considered quitting racing. However, I made the decision to come back for 2023 and was able to race a pro national at Riverglade MX where I went 22-24 for 25th overall on the day. I was riding a completely stock bike in the 250 class, and was not in as good of shape as I would have liked. Coming into 2024 I believe I can be inside the points in every moto with the right support.
