Personal History
My name is Louis (Jerry) DeFelicis and I was born on January 14th 2005 in Kingston NY. I am going into 2nd grade at ER Crosby School. I started out on a XR 50 when I was 2yrs old with training wheels. On my 3rd birthday my parents bought me a KTM 50 Mini. My parents entered me into motocross racing as soon as AMA allowed me to. I was held back a year due to my birth date, so this is my first year of racing. When I am not racing I enjoy playing video games and riding my bicycle. In the winter months I enjoy riding my four wheeler. I knew from the first time I saw my dad ride his dirt bike that is what I wanted to do. My parents took me to a few of the AMA pro races and ever since then I have become obsessed. I am a current AMA member and District 34, and MSC Member. I have raced all of MSC (Metropolitan Sports Committee) tracks along with others. My ultimate goal is to become a professional dirt bike rider and one day compete with the big boys.
Riding Goals
My goals for this year is to better myself as a rider. I recently got back going from a broken femur of the 3rd race of the 2011 season.I trained hard once I was able to get back on the bike with doctors orders trying to increase my endurance in order to move up in my class next year. I plan on attending as many races as I can and doing a bit more traveling next year. I plan on attending Area and Regional Qualifiers and trying my best to qualify for Loretta Lynn's. I am going to continue to practice hard and work on my skills to make sure I get there.
Competitive Highlights
I started motocross racing in April 2010 at the age of 5. I started out slow but definitely pick it up as time went on as you can tell with my 2010 race results. I have attended races every weekend through out the summer. I plan to attend the LCQ for the TRI-STATE Championships at Walden Playboys Oct 16th 2010. I finished 5th in points in my Pee Wee 4-6 class with MSC (Metropolitan Sports Committee). I also finished 6th in points in the Oil Injection 4-8 class with MSC. I did not start to run the Oil Injection Class until about mid year. I am currently sponsored by Decal Works and Fagoon Racing.WON MSC PEE WEE 4-6 CHAMPIONSHIP THIS YEAR WITH THREE RACES STILL LEFT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
