Personal History
At just 2 weeks old, Jeremy was introduced to the motocross world,
watching his Dad (Peter Garcia) race at local events around Arizona and
California and also following his Aunt (Adrienne Cooper) while she raced her
ATV in the National GNC Series with the Joe Byrd Quad Riding Team. At 3
years old, Jeremy’s parents bought him a quad which he enjoyed riding in
the Sand Dunes at Glamis and having fun on local pee week tracks near his
home in Arizona. By the age of 5, Jeremy was surprised with his very first
dirt bike, Suzuki JR 50. With the help of his Dad/Mechanic, Jeremy was quick
to learn the basics of riding a motorcycle. After a year of recreational riding
and only 6 years old, Jeremy entered his first race on January 22nd, 2012 in
the Arizona State Championship series. He quickly became known as the kid
who had great technique and a smooth riding style. Jeremy’s dedication and
hard work paid off while not only earning many sponsorships in his first year
of racing but also achieving a 4th place overall finish in the 50 cc Beginner
Class.
Jeremy’s commitment to the sport of motocross has not only allowed him to
quickly excel but he has also become a role model for many. The amount of
dedication that he has at such a young age is inspiring for kids not only at
the track but off the track as well. After 3 ½ years of riding, above all,
Jeremy’s kindness and sportsmanship never goes unnoticed.
