Personal History

My name is Jerel. I've been riding dirt bikes since I was 8. Started out on a kx60 on the 20 acres of land we had at the time. Over the first few years of riding i got really good on my 60 and won a lot of races. Jumped to the 80 class and did the same. After that i jumped to the bike bikes and started out in the B class in Minnesota's District 23 ama races. I eventually went to the A class for a little while and did well there and unfortunately got out of racing for around 12 years. In that amount of years I have collected over 150 trophies and a few championships. I'm now 36 and getting back into racing as I'm showing my 7yr old boy what i did back when i was his age. Just started racing again this year after that long break and went back to the B class to get back into it. Doing well at the moment in the races I've been entering.

Riding Goals

My goals for the rest of the remaining year are to just keep pushing as hard as I can and get my endurance back up or close to what i had before i took that long break. Hopefully i can achieve that but now that I'm almost 30 years older its going to be a challenge but I'm all in for that. Also putting in the time of racing and practice so my 7 year old can see me and follow my footsteps.

Competitive Highlights

Some accomplishments in the past that I've had is a few championships in D23 ama back when I was on my 80.

Currently in 3rd place chasing a championship at one of the tracks i go to in the Vet advanced class. I could be in first possibly but i just found out about this place half way through the season. I believe next year i'll be able to secure that championship for sure.
