Personal History

My name is Blake. I am 18 years old. I just graduated from Banks County High School Class of 2012 and am now attending Gainesville State College majoring in Mechanical Engineering. i have been riding dirt bikes since i turned three. At the age of six, I ran my first motocross race and have been in love with the sport every since. Racing motocross is my passion. I recently suffered from an injury that had kept me off the bike for a little while, so I took the time off the bike to just enjoy the life of being a teenager and high school student/ athlete. I competed in football and track while off the bike and just enjoyed life. Now I am back in action and fully ready to start riding and doing what i love....and also....winning National championships!
for those of you that have taken the time to visit my page, i thank you.

My History that started my passion for MX:
I started racing in 2002. I began racing Hare scrambles locally at Durhamtown Plantation. after winning two championships at Durhamtown in 2003 and 2004, I made my transition into motocross. Mainly running local series' through out the Southeast (Carolinas, Georgia, Florida, etc.)

I also competed in various Mega series races.
After 2009, while training for a Loretta Lynn's Qualifier, I suffered from a broken hip. after healing up, i decided to take some time off from racing. Now i am back in action training with my trainer Jim Nelson whom i ride for at Dirt Dreams MX team, located in Easley, SC. I am ready to start my new season and start winning races again! My goals would not be possible without good support, and with good support given to me by your company, the favor would be returned by unlimited amounts of advertisement. The racer himself is a better advertisement than any other form around. If riding for a company, I would do anything to bring more business to your company on and off the track, such as showing your logo on my bike, transportation, signs, handing out cards, spreading the word, announcing your company's name on the podium and in interviews, etc.

Riding Goals

My planned racing schedule for the 2012/ 2013 season is:

(riding 250/450 C and College Boy for 2012-2013 season)

2012 Suzuki Best In Georgia Series/

Mega Series/

Suzuki Top Gun Showdown/

Vurb Moto Classic/

Mini Olympics at Gatorback/

Loretta Lynn's qualifiers

Then I plan to make the step up to B class in 2013

racing schedule subject to change due to time constraint, money, support, injury, etc.

Competitive Highlights

250 C class Mega series 2008 Parker valley 1st place
250 C class Carolina Cool 3 series 2009 3rd place
450 C class Carolina Cool 3 series 2009 2nd place
etc. (to many to add, all from 2009 and earlier)
also many other accomplishments in other sports

How i plan to highlight my sponsors:
i plan to be the biggest form of advertisement possible for my sponsors. Since they take care of me and my racing needs, and they give me the products needed to do good in motocross, i plan to return the favor by giving them MAXIMUM exposure to the public. I plan to always represent them in a professional manor and always strive to bring their company to the next level. Whether it be their logo on my clothes, bike, transportation, etc., or me verbally advertising for them, I plan to do so as much as possible to get the company name out there.
