Personal History

I have been riding since 1968..... and racing since 1973 (Southwick on an XR75). I still race at Southwick these days and continue to enjoy watching the facility and track improve.

These days my role has changed. From that of an avid racer to more of a promotional connection with the retail customer. I work with various companies on R&D as well as marketing issues surrpound product activation and "word tracks."

The products that are associated with me are seen at many different venues. In addition to racing I also spend a good part (30%) of my time demonstrating product (Demo Days) for Sunoco Race Fuel. I ride with the customers of dealers throughout the Eastern U.S. and help them choose and tune their race fuels. All of the other product onboard the hauler (bikes, clothing. helmets, boots, goggles, etc) are also available for demo.... As a result the customer is sold without their realizing it.... as is the dealer that is hosting the event.

Riding Goals

Face to face contact with the retail consumer is where I spend a majority of my time now. I influence the buying of your product through a very subtle process of relationship building. Products that are associated with this process will naturally benefit from my direct contact and the fact that I use these products. I also will interact with retail dealers and suggest that they stock those products that I represent...

Competitive Highlights

Winning is a great highlight.... I have plenty of trophies that speak to my racing involvement. My passion however lies in the process of influencing buying decisions and having fun while doing that. Dealer Open Houses, Dealer Ride Days, Open Practice Days with demo product available.... fun times and very social... while at the same time influencial in the minds of the dealers and consumers.

I like to work closely with local sales reps/ distributor reps as well. Suggesting dealers, making introductions and paving the way for retail sales.
