Jeff Stambaugh finished out the last round of the World Off-Road Championship Series in Taft, CA with a trip to the hospital and his second national championship in the Rhino class.

Saturday Jeff was leading the race and being pushed hard by Polaris' Doug Eichner (in his new RZR). Jeff , on the first lap, cleared the 65ft table smoothly. However, on lap two Jeff overshot the landing. He was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure and was sent home later that evening.

Sunday night at the WORCS award ceremony Jeff was crowned the 2007 World Off-Road Rhino Champion - his second championship this year, and his second consecutive WORCS championship.

Jeff plans on participating in all of the WORCS races next year, so catch him at the first round in Phoenix in January. Look for pictures on off-road.com

After being crowned the 2007 World Off Road Championship Series Rhino Champion and the North West Quad National Rhino Champion, I have started to gear up for 2008.

This winter I would like to do a complete rebuild of the Rhino in preparation for 2008. I would like to partner up with my sponsors for the 08 season to build a new race rhino to ensure a tri-fecta series win. This rebuild will be more important in the ever growing UTV market as more and more UTVs are offered with faster and more efficient designs than my 2005 Yamaha Rhino.

First Round begins January 25th in Phoenix, Arizona!

Round 1 and 2 of WORCS have passed and I am eagerly awaiting the rest of the year's races. After breaking in Round 2, I am trying to fix the Rhino and then head to Richland, WA for the EWDRA Hare Scramble on March 4th. This marks my 1 year anniversary of Rhino racing!

Hopefully all will go well at the hare scramble, because the next weekend I am heading for Round 3 of WORCS in Lake Havasu, Arizona. I am currently tied for 1st place in the points, so this could be a deciding race!

Then, I'm off to Round 4 in Payette, Idaho on April 6-8. This is a fun track, and I'm looking forward to it.
