Personal History
My name is Jeff Leeson and I began riding at the age of five and racing at the age of 6. I began competing at a national level in Canada when i was 7 years old and have loved every second of competition since I began racing. I currently live in Ontario, Canada with my parents and am completing my senior year of high school. Over the course of the last two years I began to take my racing even more seriously and began a strict training program and diet that allowed me to loose approximately 65 pounds. I've continued to stick to my training program and diet and reaped the benefits of it over the course of the last year and half with many late moto come from behind rides. Unfortunately my season this year came to an end after crashing in a corner and tearing my ACL on May 26, 2012. I had surgery on July 9. 2012 and have been doing intense rehab to try and get back on the bike as soon as possible. Before tearing my ACL my focus was on training for Loretta Lynn's and trying to win a championship in the 250 C mod and 450 C classes. I had won my area qualifiers and was preparing for the Red Bud regional qualifier when i was injured. Next year my sights will once again be set on competing for a Loretta Lynn's championship in the 250 C and 450 C classes. After Loretta's in 2013 i plan to compete at the Walton Transcan Canadian National MX championship (Canada's version of Loretta Lynn's). I plan to race the MX1, MX2, and MX3 Intermediate classes and I also consider myself having an excellent shot at picking up all three championships at walton.
