Personal History
my name is jeff ledford and i am 26 years old. i been riding my whole life, but started competing in 2007 at dade city mx. My first series i raced was at dade city mx series in 07. I raced in the C class and finished 16th overall in the whole 125 class. They don't seperate the classes for points. If you race in the 125 a, b, c or beginner class, you get put into a points system in all the 125 classes. I also raced there spring series and finished 5th overall. I ride 2 to 3 times a week and train with my cousi matt lee. i seperated my left shoulder at the end of 2008 at flying high mx park when it was open. this is my first year racing the ama, and i raced some of the winter ams series. i didn't get good n results due to my first year back since my injury. i am going to at least make it to the regionals in 250 C stck and open C stck. I also plan on running the whole dade ciy mx series for 09, and i am going for a top ten finish. i have a family with 2 kids and a girlfriend, and i also work full time. i love riding and also go to race events, either to ride or watch.
Riding Goals
my goals for 09 are to make it to at least the regionls in the 250 C stck class and the Open C stck class. I am also racing in the 2009 Dade City Mx Point Series. I going for a top ten in the 125 class.
Competitive Highlights
some of my competitive highlightsare playing football in high school. playing softball on a coed team for the local YMCA and last but not least racing.
