Personal History

I started riding when I was in 6th grade and fell in love with the sport (I'm 48 now, so that was a loooong time ago). I raced a few times in college at Swan Raceway in Tyler. I quit for several years then started back up again in 2001. I got hooked racing Cross Country & Hare Scramble format races and was on staff for 2 years as a scoring / technical official for the TORO (Texas Off-road Racing Organization) series. I am very proud that I was involved in getting this racing series started. I ride some moto and race when I can. I love this sport and so do my sons. Like I said - It is in my blood.

Riding Goals

Race in the 2008 - 09 TORO Season
More racing. Competing in the TORO or TORCS/TORN series. I'd like to be able to run a whole series again. The TORO, TORCS, and TORN series are starting to mix it up with some moto and cross-country just like the WORCS series - and that is what I love. I miss racing!
Make some more TSCEC Enduros and riding MOTO for cross training!!!!!

Competitive Highlights

2.5 years racing TORO as an amateur.  I had some top 10 finishes, but I had to scale back my racing due to financial reasons (linked to injuries among other things - not all were from motorcycles - I blew up my ACL on a bicycle!)
