Personal History
I grew up in a racing family. I won the first race I entered on a Honda XR75 when
I was 12 years old. Needless to say, that's all it took for me to become hooked. I raced motocross through my youth, teen, and college years from Maine to Florida. I worked my way up to Expert early in my career. I married my college sweetheart, JoAnn when I was 23 and soon started a family (Elizabeth and JP) I stopped competing in motos and started to ride recreationally. In the early 90's I embarked on my auto racing career; competing in everything from pro stocks on dirt tracks to asphalt late models to Nascar open wheel modifieds. I enjoyed much success in auto racing, winning 9 championships but had always missed the added excitement of competing on motorcycles. I had made the decision in 2016 to hang up my driver's suit and put on my moto helmet for good, competing in the popular JDAY series in the Senior "A" division finishing 7th overall during my first season. Needless to say, I'm hooked again.
Riding Goals
My first goal, being over 50 is not to fall off the bike HA! My second goal is to finish in the top 5 overall with some solid podium finishes in the J-Day series. My third goal is to have fun doing it.
