Personal History

I started riding dirt bikes with my best friend in his back yard.  We took turns riding an old ToaToa 70cc in the yard until we eventually broke it.  Our parents knew right away that we were obsessed with the sport and were ready to support us right away.  My mom, Becky, and my step dad, Kevin, gave me a 2016 Honda CRF 110 and all the matching gear for Easter in 2016.  As I grew up, they got me a 2000 Suzuki DS80 and taught me to use a clutch.  I then moved up to a KX65, then KX85 in 2017.  This was the first bike I took to the tracks.  When I started track riding, I knew I was hooked.  I have never had much passion in playing typical sports like baseball, even though I have participated in some team sports.  I developed a passion for motocross right away.  When I am on the track I feel happy, powerful, free.  In 2018 I transitioned from a KX85 to a KX100 and got more time on the tracks getting better, faster.  I entered my first race in the summer of 2019, I did not place very well but I learned what I needed to do.  My passion has grown more and more.  I have worked hard, practiced, and studied professional riders and their techniques.  After repeatedly expressing my desire to race competitively, my parents surprised me with a 2020 KTM 125SX for Christmas in 2019. They take me riding every weekend.  We go to new tracks as much as possible.  I joined my first race series (2020) as a novice at a track local to my area.  I had good days and bad but in the end my consistency, hard work, and loyalty to the sport resulted in my first novice championship.  I also participated in some OpenMX events at the track for fun and had a blast doing a race for fun with my new mx friends.  Now that this season is ending, I already can't wait for next season to begin.  Winter is coming here in New England so we will be spending the time getting my bike and equipment ready for the spring.  My parents have been there for me every step of the way,  I am looking for additional support to help me to continue advancing.

Riding Goals

It is my dream to continue to ride competitively and to advance into more difficult competitions.

Competitive Highlights

I have had a lot of top 5 finishes this year.  The first time I got first place overall in a race day on 9/27/2020 was an amazing feeling and then winning first place in a championship after battling for the lead all summer while being one of the youngest riders.
