Personal History
I grew up in a small town in WV and rode dirt bikes my hole child hood but never competitively. I got out of riding dirt bikes for a few years and just picked it back up about 4 years ago. I purchase a rmz250 ( which was not the best choice for riding in the woods/racing) and me and my friends rode just for fun for about a year. Then I bout a 22 yz250f and that’s when I started really racing. I raced this bike for a year and did well racing c class. This past year I bought a new 2022 xcf 250 and was running first overall at my local hare scramble in c class but ended up having a crash about 3/4 through the year which ended my year. Last year I also raced at our local gncc ( snowshoe) and ended up 2nd in c class which I was stoked for. As well as finishing in the top 30-45 in my local races which usually host around 250 bikes every race.
Riding Goals
This year I’m making the jump from c class to open b/c so I can get with some more competitive guys and some guys that my be a bit faster then me so I can tuck in behind and learn something’s. This years goal is to finish the season out healthy and try to put a top 3 overall in my class as well as breaking into the top 25 at my local series. I am also gonna run the 4 gncc races that are close to me so I can get some reps in on a national lever. So in the future I can run two series which would be my local and all the gncc races.
Competitive Highlights
My first year racing I rode trail rider and did well but I wanted to move up the past year to c class which I did and really excelled in that class. I finished 3 in the first race due to a flat tire. But after that first race this past year I went on a 6 win streak here at my local. I also competed at snowshoe gncc in terrible conditions in c class and ended up 2nd. Me and a buddy also did a local necxc buddy race and me and my buddy finished 3 overall and there were very high caliber races there including Caleb russle.
