Personal History

Christmas of 2016, my parents surprised me with a CRF50 and i was the happiest kid in the world that day.  This was when my love for dirt biking began.  I was really good on my BMX and that is what convinced my parents to go this route.  My dad actually tells a funny story about how he is not the reason why I got a dirt bike but it was my mom since she rode a little when she was younger.  Thanks MOM!  Over the next few years I had a lot of fun learning to ride.  Plenty of lessons where learned while lots of experience was being gained.  Our go to placed to ride were Hollister Hill, Metcalf and Carnegie.  As I got more comfortable on my bike I wanted to explore the trails and see where they led.  This required my dad to learn to dirt bike as I was too young and inexperienced to go alone.  Trail learning definitely helped and continues to help advance my riding skills.

Eventually I was upgraded to a KTM65 and what fun did I have with that.  Feeling the power band the first time was an eye opening experience.  The difference of a race bike compared to the CRF50 was what I needed to advance my skills further.  I continued to ride as much as possible over the next few years and entered into my first Hare Scramble at Hollister Hills which was a great experience.  I became more and more comfortable on this bike and am sure I have scared my parents a few times as my jumps continue to get bigger and I am riding faster and faster.

The time was here for another upgrade and I received my YZ85, which is my current bike.  During this time I wanted to experience motocross and I entered my first race series, Summer Sundayz.  I never thought I would be having so much fun racing, meeting new friends and understanding the racing world more and more.  Watching the bigger bikes to try and figure out what they are doing that I am not and applying these changes during practice has been amazing.  I am looking forward to continue to race, increase my skill and enjoy the opportunity I have.  i am so happy I have found what I love to do.

Riding Goals

My riding goals are:

1- Continue to train on and off the course.  Work on riding techniques to become consistent and build the muscle memory to make it second nature when riding

2- Be consisted in participating in races to help me become a bigger part of this community.

3- Place within the top 10 of any race I join.  Learn what could have made a difference if I am not within the top 10 and apply these learnings in practice to help continue to place better over time.

Competitive Highlights

I am currently working on my competitive resume.  I am in the middle of the Summer Sundayz race series which is my first of many series to come.
