Personal History
My name is Jaxson Schiller, an adventure seeking, adrenaline junkie, fun-loving six year old with a passion for dirt bike riding. I have been obsessed with dirt bikes ever since my big brother got one for Christmas and finally when I was four I received my very own 2006 Honda CRF50F. Of course when I got it, I needed training wheels but within 4 months I said “goodbye” to the training wheels and “hello” to the 2-wheeler!
In 2015, I wanted more than just riding around my grandma’s track and that’s when my dad introduced me to competitive racing. With my dad as my coach and pit crew, and my mom and big brother my cheering section, I participated in my first race, The Woodstock KTM Friday Night Under the Lights Series. After the first few races, my dad suggested a riding coach to help me with my riding form and technique to improve my standings. Brad Jerominski of Club 57 helped me learn discipline, patience, form and technique to improve my riding ability. He also suggested that I needed a more competitive bike since I was learning so quickly. So about mid-season, a 2015 KTM 50 SX Mini was my new ride!
You may ask what I do in my spare time when I am not riding and the answer is, I shoot hoops, play baseball and football with my brother and his friends. When I am at school, my teachers are always commenting on my leadership qualities and my willingness to help others. Even though we do not receive letter grades yet, my teacher Miss. Gustafson says I am at the top of the class.
Riding Goals
During the Midwest winter months, I will be going to the indoor tracks to practice and sharpen my riding technique for the upcoming 2016 racing season. At the start of the race season, I will be six years old on my KTM 50 SX Mini and I will be racing every weekend which will be my first full season in the 0-50cc Class 4 (4-8 yrs) and 0-51cc Jr. (4-6 yrs) classes. I will also participate in the RED BUD and all the local District 17 races. My ultimate goal is to win my first motocross title in 2016!
