Personal History
My name is Jaxson Lapan, I am 6 years old and in the first grade. This is my first year racing motocross; I raced in 4 different states and the following districts NEMX, D-34, NESC and AMA. I love anything with a wheels and/or a motor. When I’m not on my dirt bike you can find me outside riding my four-wheeler, BMX bike or building dirt bike tracks in my sandbox. I love to be outside, play with my 2 dogs, hockey and anything with my litter sister. If I need to be inside I am watching Supercross/Motocross or playing with my dirt bike toys. This summer we spent every weekend racing and multiple times during the week but the best part of my entire summer was going to Southwick to watch the Nationals.
I love the sport of motocross because it is a constant challenge and I love the rush it gives me. This sport keeps me driven and focused. It is all up to me to do well and to ride hard. I have always loved the sport since I was a baby and now am happy to participate myself. My dad and grandfather are both great riders and I hope to be just like them someday. My goal is to make it all the way to Loretta Lynns just like my grandfather.
I am currently in 1st grade at Northfield Elementary School.
My favorite part of school is seeing all of my friends and gym class. I love to run around and be active. My best subject is Math, it comes easy to me and my teachers say I am good at it.
I am a very happy go lucky kid. I am competitive yet humble if I don’t win. Each time I race I strive to do better and better. After each race I think about what I did wrong and what I need to do to get better. Every race is a new opportunity to do my very best. I love what motocross gives me; it gives me a personal challenge and accountability; it is all up to me to win. I am always willing to go with the flow and go on adventures. I am kind to others and do my best to make others happy.
