Personal History

My name is Jaxon Jacobson, I am 18 years old and live in Inkom, Idaho. I graduated High School June of 2023 and I have a full time job working for a local Toyota dealership, detailing cars. When I am not working, I am on the track training or racing. I have been on a dirt bike since before I could ride a pedal bike. My first dirt bike my dad bought me was a Honda 50. I haven't stopped riding since. My love of riding has grown as has the size of my dirt bike. I am now riding and racing a 2023, Yamaha YZ450F. I spent my younger years trail riding with friends and family and continue to do that when I am not racing. My Dad and sister ride dirt bikes and my Mom follows us in her Razor. My sister, now races with me. I did a late season race in October of 2022, even in the rain and cold, I fell in love with racing. I spent my Spring, Summer and Fall of 2023 racing as much as I could. I raced locally in the East Idaho MX Series along with the regional RMX Series traveling further away from home. I enjoy maintaining and working on dirt bikes as well as customizing them. My Dad and I do all of the maintenance and repairs ourselves. It has taught me patience and to appreciate the importance of even the minor details when doing the work.

Riding Goals

Riding is one of the only things I can put my mind towards and really enjoy. I love being able to jump on my bike and go for a ride whenever I want. I don't just enjoy riding bikes, I enjoy working on them as well. It's all very peaceful to me. There is a freedom in riding and racing that is irreplaceable. I ride because I love it, I ride to clear my mind, I ride to better my skill. I ride to race and be better. Your hobby, is my LIFE!

My goal for 2024 is to continue to improve my racing ability and series points. I will be racing again this year in the East Idaho MX Series as well as the RMX Series. There is always room for improvement and I am looking forward to training hard and racing even harder.

Competitive Highlights

In 2023, my 1st year racing, I raced in the 250D and 450D classes.

After missing 1 round, I was still able to place in the East Idaho MX Series

I took 3rd overall in the 450 beginner class and 4th overall in the 250D class.

I was only able to complete 4 rounds of the RMX Series 450D class and was 16th out of 122 in series points.
