Personal History
My name is Jaxon Winters. I'm 15 years old. I live in Annville, Pa. I'm an honor roll student at Annville Cleona High School. I've been riding a dirt bike since I am 5 years old. I started on a PW 50 and within 2 weeks I was riding my brothers King Cobra. My older brother is 5 years older than me and raced from the age 5 till he was 10. I also have a sister who is 10 years older than me. She has graduated college and is in the medical field. Both my older siblings were athletes. I'm an athlete as well. I play sports all year. Soccer and basketball being my top favorite and come natural to me. For an example when I was in 3rd grade, I was the starting point guard for the 5th & 6th grade travel team and I'm just a little guy. I also played baseball and football and the drums. I love to BMX, Scooter, Skateboard, Rollerblade, Ice Skate and flip. I've been front and back flipping since I can remember. My parents made me take trampoline classes before I could I get one. I've always wanted to race but being the youngest w/ 2 older siblings, my dad being self-employed and my mom a stay-at-home mom it just wasn't the right time. I'm very thankful that I had a backyard I was allowed to dig and ride as much as I wanted. Moving forward with both of my siblings being out on their own leaves more time for me so my parents are letting me, with lots of their help, pursue my dreams. I gave up all my school sports to dedicate myself 100% to motocross. March 2021 is when I stared practicing locally and I was racing by April 2021. I now train 1-2 times a week, weather permitting and race every weekend. We actually bought a toy hauler/camper for farther destinations. We made this sport into a family thing. My mom and dad grew up riding 4-wheelers and dirt bikes. When my dad was little his dream was to be a Pro Motocross Rider. We've been to plenty of Nuclear Cowboyz and Nitro Circus. I was fortunate to meet Ryan Williams and Travis Pastrana. That was a great day. Motocross means so much to me.
Riding Goals
My riding goals are, well I have a lot of them. My top goal is to work hard and stay focused and determined. I want to make regionals next year and hopefully Loretta's one day. I know I have a long way to go and much more to learn but I am very proud where I am today and how far I have come. I have a great support system all around me. I'm so appreciative and grateful for everything my parents have done and continue to do for me. There's always room for growth and I'm ready. Motocross is my passion, it's what I love to do and it's what I want to do.
