Personal History
36 year old professional white collar worker who got back into motocross when I bout my son a 50 for Christmas. I feel there is huge untapped market of professional/working adults that enjoyed riding in their childhood and then life caught up and they forgot all about. I am married with two children and use riding and racing as the ultimate mind clearing activity. Riding and racing allows me to focus on my overall health due to the physical demands and takes the edge off of a stressful work week.
Riding Goals
I hope to be able to improve on my riding abilities and climb in the rankings in the state championship this year. I want to be able to show people (ideally ages 25-50) that they too can get back into it and compete. They can recapture the joy they had in their youth and get their children into it as well so all can enjoy a family friendly outdoor activity. My journey has already caused 5 of my friends/coworkers to buy bikes and they will again be racing this year.
Competitive Highlights
I qualified for the state championship last year but broke my arm and collar bone the week before the race. Since then i have been training weekly and the improvement is evident. Every race i become a little faster and a lot more confident.
