Personal History
I was born into the outdoors sports world, mainly big lake fishing. My family owns and operates a bait and tackle shop in Benton Harbor, MI called Tackle Haven. I have always loved the outdoors and at the age of 8 I learned about motocross. Took me about two years to convince my parents to let me race and by the age of 10 I competed in my first race on a KX65. I worked my way up to an RM85 and that's when I took a shot for the first time to qualify for Loretta Lynn's. made it past the qualifiers and on to regionals where I crashed and couldn't race anymore that weekend. Later that year my mom was involved in a car accident breaking both legs, this was tough on the whole family and we had to put motocross down for a while. I moved to Florida for college in 2009. Now four years later I moved back to my home state of MI and the first thing I did was buy a 2012 KX250F. I've missed those weekends at the track and the motocross lifestyle, I'm ready to jump back in!
Riding Goals
This year (2013) is pretty much my training year getting back in shape for racing. I attend open rides all over the state in preparation for racing. I plan on entering races later this year as well but for now I still need to build up my stamina and strength on the bike. Next year (2014) will be all about racing. Mainly the local points races GLMX but also Hopefully I can take a shot at Loretta's if everything goes as planned.
Competitive Highlights
As my personal history states I use to race competitively every weekend as a kid. (KX65-RM85) Even tried for Loretta's, but you can't win them all. I've been out of the motocross game for a few years but plan on building my strength stamina and speed back up so I can be a competitor at the local points chase. (GLMX)
