A tire pressure gauge and a brake line... Thats what killed this event for me. Off to a great start from the flag drop until the first turn . My bike was out of control. I made it about a mile before i pulled off and let an unknown amount of air out of my tires. I inflated to 12psi by my gauge and found out after the race that it was malfunctioning by about 18psi. After dropping air I was finally off and racing, everything was feeling good until dropping down a steep hill I discovered I had no rear brake. The brake line had twisted up and melted on the pipe. I pulled off at the end of lap 1 upon deciding that 75mph with no brakes was a bad Idea. Searchlight GP put on a great event and I was glad for the experience.

Great race today in the AZOP Grand Prix. The course had a great new setup, recent weather provided great moisture for excellent ttraction, and my bike was dialed. Thank you to all of my sponsors for your support in making today possible. First time iv'e been on the top box in awhile and it felt awesome!

AMRA Round 1 turned out to be a great race for me. I arrive at the track at 6:30 am on Sunday with a very sore back from a hard hit I encountered practicing MX on Saturday. My race not being until 2:30 in the afternoon, I spent time stretching and resting while the other classes raced. Game Time: I strapped on my gear and idled to the starting line to find out it was a cold start and that my class was starting row 4. I watched as the first row fired up and rocketed into turn 1, row 2 and the adrenaline is started to kick in. Row three goes and i ready my foot on the kickstart. GREEN!!! I kick the bike and then twist the throttle as I shift into 2nd gear and.... nothing. The bike did't start and twisted the throttle flooding it. I watched as my class reached turn one and BRAAAAPPP it fired up. In that instant I was focused on the leader and with 15 bikes ahead of me I went to work. The bike felt amazing under me, bangin gears and rev limiters from the beginning til the end. I ended up placing 7th of 17 in my class and 16th of 63 overall. I would have liked a better finish but at the same time, this was the best I had ever ridden, my fastest and cleanest race to date. I felt GREAT on the bike and got my MOJO back. 2012 is going to be a great year for me.

This Saturday I raced my new 450 for the first time at Speedworld MX. I cannot believe how well it runs and handles. I'm expecting GREAT results!
